How would young men cope in an apocalyptic environmental disaster? With echoes of Lord of the Flies, When It Rains offers an insight. The young cast attack the play with controlled vigour and bring genuine anger and frustration to their roles. The play and directorial choices didn't grab me, with too much aimed directly at the audience and a very open ending.
