Touring with Jason Manford, Cory English and Phill Jupitus

The Producers ReviewWhat a fabulous night out.

I could stop there, that's all you need to know, but that would not be very polite. This is a great cast who work their socks off to deliver a fast-paced, belly-laugh funny, properly entertaining show. If you've seen the film you will know the plot and will even recognise aspects of the characterisations - brilliant. If you haven't seen the film who cares, just go and enjoy it ... unless, of course, you are easily offended, in which case I'll save you the effort and tell you to just stay away ;-)

Cory English has an almost unbelievable amount of energy. All through the show he is bouncing around, singing, dancing and slap stick. His timing is a joy and his changes of pace quite amazing - when he gives us a plot summary in the second half he deserves his own private standing ovation. Jason Manford is superb, we recently saw him in the BBC's "Ordinary Lies" so knew he could act but here he sings and dances too and with great confidence and skill. David Bedella is a true delight as Roger de Bris and just made me smile everytime he apepared, Louie Spence is Louie Spence, Phill Jupitus carries off the mad Franz well (love the pigeons) and Tiffany Graves' Ulla is suitably Swedish and daft.

This is a great musical, a truly funny story and a delightful, engaging, fabulously over the top production.

Loved it!
