The Nights

A journalist on an un-named tabloid takes on the story of a returning Jihadi bride, in part because her mentor was beheaded on video. But in seeking a damning quote from a soldier, back from the war and recently acquited of accusations of crimes when he ran a prison she uncovers a deeper and more worrying story. The evils of both sides are exposed, her options change, her editor doesn't get his quote. A powerful and well presented piece though curiously lacking truth in its emotion.
