Did Philip Ridley have a bad day, or did Stepping Out Theatre make a poor choice in this selection of stories which do not link together to make a satisfying or coherent show? If you are playing multiple characters with a variety of accents, they need to be crisp and consistent in differentiation. I spent the first 5 minutes trying to decide if the performer was trying a generic West Country accent or if it was something more exotic. Judging by her subsequent voices , it was poor precision. Her director could have advised her to feel the light, so she avoided dark spots towards the front of the stage. Quite a frustrating show to watch.
