Spring Awakening

This disturbing musical of innocence and intolerance remains pertinent in our polarising world. This production does it well. The performers are all strong, led by a great band. The orchestration and balance are skilful. There are high production values with good costume and effective lighting. The cast manage the small space with aplomb and each character is well drawn. This is an accomplished production of a bleak tale.
