Seb Lime is a loveable hedonistic youth – with all the selfish, inconsiderate traits that go with someone who knows how clever and charming he is. And Andrew Jackson is charming. Most young ladies (and many young men) will be dreaming of him tonight! He has a deceptive, lazy delivery which oozes confidence with impeccable timing. This is the wittiest play I’ve seen so far. Harry (Guy Hixon) has the most obvious laughs and plays them for all they are worth. But listen for the little asides, you won’t want to miss anything. The characters are all well played, believable, irreverent and intelligently portrayed by a strong cast of five. The pace slows towards the end as the story needs to be rounded off, but there are neat twists along the way. There is a fun selection of music. Next time you see the boys in lime-green pants run down the Royal Mile, run after them – there’s a great show they’re leading you to.
