Rent UK Tour

A brand new production of multi award winning broadway musical Rent created by Jonathan Larsen is to take to the road early in 2001 at the start of a major national UK tour, opening at Leicester Haymarket Theatre on 5th February 2001. Rent picked up many awards both in London and on Broadway including 4 Tony Awards and the rare achievement of the Pulitzer Prize for Drama. Inspired by Puccini s ‘La Boheme , Rent is a joyous and turbulent musical with one of the most dynamic and exciting scores in modern musical theatre, spanning the boundaries of rock, blues, gospel, soul and tango.
