The well established story of a group of schoolchildren marooned on an island to fend for themselves. Chaos and murder ensue. The production confronts the vicious violence without flinching and the young cast present it well. I found random lighting and overbearing sound a distraction - the sound necessitated a lot of shouting. Switching scenes to a sound cue meant the actors lost pace. The cast fashioned their characters well and relished the ensemble work. Jack, Ralph and Piggy were all strongly portrayed.
