Jesus, Jane, Mother & Me (Pleasance, Edinburgh) listing>>

A powerful and disturbing one-man show performed with huge energy by Jack Stokes. Dniel has returned to his childhood home and relates how he and his mother found first Jesus and then Jane McDonald - two saviours who made their lives bearable. But faith turned to obsession and when his mother lost interest, Daniel failed to cope. This is a convincing and compelling performance which left me a little chilled - in a good way.
