Greeny and Stevo’s story is told with high energy and high speed by a driven Matthew Greenhough. It's a hilarious rant at times – there is no time to laugh as the social and political lines fight for your attention. Greenhough and the audience embrace the respite provided by soothing live jazz trumpet – what a calming presence the trumpet player brings. We move across dates in the boy’s friendship through rebellious punk stage to current political separation. All sides and extremes come under his gaze, with the ridiculous extremes bitterly mocked as he plays through his extensive record collection. The words challenge our own prejudices, the music gives us welcome time to think. The audience need almost as much energy as this impassioned performer.
