For a price as low as £2 (2 day pass) you can now see the Orange Tree Theatre production of Stephen Sewell's It Just Stopped on-line at artstreamingtv.com.
After tonight, as far as we can tell, it will become available "on demand" at their website. It is early days for this operation, who have a number of dance events and some shows from Wilton's Music Hall on their books, but it is an int6eresting idea and this is a clever play to chose, looking as it does at what happens when technology "stops"!
With an increasing number of shows, particularly from the NT and ROH, being broadcast to cinemas and Digital Theatre having an increasing portfolio of high class productions it looks like we will get more chances to see great productions even if we can't travel (or get tickets) to see them live!
Digital Theatre has just added the Royal Ballet's recent "Sleeping Beauty" and "Nutcracker" and the Royal Opera's "Dido and Aeneas" and "Hansel and Gretel" to their Royal opera House collection.
