Evil

The stories of a boy growing up in Sweden to a horrendously violent father and through an unbelievably violent boarding school system were made into a play that was succesful in Sweden and a film that was Oscar nominated but despite the obvious talent and effort behind this production it failed to find a voice that spoke to me. Perhaps having just seen "Doubting Thomas" I was looking for something more authentic, less remote, more enaged.
