Part Japanese bondage (Shibari), part rope act, part theatre and an exploration of cross-generational attitudes to female sexuality. Brought up by a feminist mother, a young woman explores the realm of bondage and art ammassing 50,000 followers. When the mother's colleagues show her the images the conflict between their worlds and views becomes inevitable. The text uses a lot of quotes from famous individuals about sexuality but the original dialogue lacks punch. Both actors make extensive and very impressive use of the ropes to climb, pose and create shapes, but I'm not sure what that adds to the show, in the end I'm not convinced that the cabaret and play are closely enough entwined. None the less, the spectacle is impressive and entertaining.
