Pappy’s Fun Club are fast becoming staple favourites of the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, almost of fast as they need to perform if they are to achieve their outlandish target of two hundred sketches in sixty minutes.
Opening with a song counting upwards from one of how many sketches won’t be enough to perform this feat, is it amusingly apparent the boys will never get there. But will any of the three-hundred plus audience in the Pleasance One care?
No. Because this is the most sophisticated silliness in town, always inspired and inventive, that packs more laughs in one evening than the vast majority of sketch groups can achieve accumulatively in an entire Edinburgh run.
