This new piece by Glyn Cannon is ostensibly a writer’s block play about three advertising executives who struggle to create a campaign for a coffee client.
It is archly written and archly performed, in part due to attempts to galvanise the breakdown and degeneration of the situation through caffeine fuelled developments and caffeine fuelled acting.
Despite intermittent moments of incisive and tender dialogue, it feels ultimately insubstantial, like a sketch that has been prolonged to play length.
