Part family biography, part concert, Dedication traces Robert Peltzman's discovery of his mother's escape from the Nazis in Brussels while his grandparents and uncle died in Auswitz. His uncle Norbert had been a brilliant pianist who might have become world famous. Robert describes their plight with media illustrations, but the show comes to life when he plays the grand piano prompted by his uncle's presence. He could be more aware of stepping out of the light and I would have liked more piano interludes, but this is a beautiful celebration of a lost talent.
