Ok, I agree that this is not a 'performance', but it is certainly a spectacle and worthy of a review!
We were blessed with good weather, but I am convinced that this walk will work just as well in the rain or snow - perhaps especially the snow! The entire route is on proper paths and there are plenty of mullled-wine, great food and gin stops to keep you going - no chestnuts roasting on an open fire but some trully stupendous mashmallows and a few fire pits! Just a note, the pulled-pork pig-in-a-bun I had was really super with some monumentally good crackling!
This is a real delight. A walk amongst the gardens with illuminated treesand bowers with hauntingly beautiful soundscapes punctuated by a fairground, storyteller, dancing water and dancing fire against a backdrop of the beautiful Palm House lit like a dream. Huge botanically inspired light sculptures are everywhere and each turn of the road gives a new delight,
A great evening for a couple ... what a memorable first date this would make ,,, or a family, this will really get you in the Christmas mood .... just don't eat before you go!
