Richard Gadd recounts his horrific experiences with a stalker over many years, up to the present day. In this solo show he introduces us to Martha, who he offered a cup of tea and some sympathy too at the bar he worked at but who ended up obsessing over him. A serial stalker, Martha is not seen in the show, we just see her texts and emails and transscriptions of her voicemails. A set of stupid decisions and a hard to convince police force make the torture last much longer than perhaps they should but that is not the point, the point is that small decisions can have huge consequences. Performed with passion and skill this is a disturbing and powerful piece of theatre.
