Praise be! Satire is alive and outrageous in Ay Up, Hitler. If you are likely to be offended, look away, cause the wartime Nazi leadership did not die, but hid in Yorkshire and here they are on stage to revisit their ideals. Do they go right to the edge? Yes. Do they go past the edge? Yes. Is it funny? Yes, yes, yes. And there is a story, showing they are aware that some may disapprove, but their finale proves how pertinent these discussions are. Thought provoking, belly laughing, we need to fight for the freedom to enjoy this clever material. Ay up, Hitler. Sieg heils!
