It echoes Godot and the search for meaning in life. Matteo and Reggie live Groundhog Day lives, building coffins for themselves but is death the only way out? Lively and likeable performances drive the play along, with a pleasing blend of comedy and absurdism. They are terrible carpenters, but as the hammers fall repeatedly, we can wince in sympathy for their pain. A thought provoking evening of comedy.
