Described as a "Mamalogue" this one -woman show from two-time Emmy Award winner Dorothy Lyman is a long, hard look at her mother, their relationship and how she learned about herself from looking at why her mother was the way she was. Starting from the premise that "not every woman should become a mother" and supported by loads of lovely family photos we are introduced to a woman who does not seem to have any maternal skills. As Dorothy delves deeper, however, we learn about a different side to a complex and interesting life. In the end, however, perhaps this is a story for the family, more than an audience.
