High camp comedy full of energy and tongue-in-cheek wit. Blue Chicken provide a romp on the ocean waves in this fast moving, high octane piece of masked theatre. Using techniques from Commedia Del Arte, Pantomime and Restoration comedy the Lamentable Comedy by Russell Dean is a show for all the family; cheep gags, audience interaction and a good dose of physical theatre makes Blue Chicken’s production of the boy meets girl, girl becomes boy, boy mixes girl up with boy, boy turns back to girl who meets a boy who happens to be a girl….!!! Confused? All will be explained in this excellent production that received a standing ovation for it engaging power and sense of fun.
