Suitable for all levels of ability and camera formats using 35mm and 120 rollfilm. This workshop will range from introductory discussion and assessment to practical demonstration of simplified lighting suitable for amateurs with only modest equipment. This will be followed on Saturday afternoon by practical portraiture of artists at work using available and controlled lighting, darkroom processing of B+W films, contact and sample prints with a final assessment and discussion. Basic principles of the tutor's own internationally renowned 'Zone 8 Exposure System' for all formats will be included. Hands-on tuition will ensure every participant receives periods of individual attention. Bring 35mm or 120 rollfilm camera, B+W film, electronic flash if owned, own B+W film, electronic flash if owned, own B+W printing paper (tutor will also have this available for purchase as required). Brian Allen, Hon FZPS, AHFAP, is a renowned photographer with an international reputation for his tuitional and photographic skills age 16+.
