The RNCM Composers' Weekend is an annual spring event involving all of the College's corporate performance resources. It enables RNCM composition students who have written works for medium-to-large forces to hear them in rehearsal, and to have them recorded for purposes of subsequent examination. Sessions are directed by Clark Rundell (Director of Contemporary Music) and by the two post-graduate Conducting Fellows, and the event culminates in a public workshop concert at 19:30 on the Sunday evening, at which a selection of the compositions worked on over the weekend are heard in performance.
