A second installment of The Blue Elephant Theatre s innovative new writing programme, HIJACK 2, will bring two weeks of theatre, prose, poetry and essays to Camberwell. Similar to the first HIJACK, three writers of new, unperformed plays will be offered three days of open access to the theatre s studio and resources. Writers will receive technical and artistic support from a range of theatre professionals and work with the Blue Elephant s pool of actors, culminating in a 'try-out reading/performance of their play to an invited audience. In addition, the Blue Elephant Theatre bar will be the venue for a series of short readings of new, unpublished fiction, poetry and essays, on the evenings of try-out performances
