A varied programme which introduces a surprising array of stringed instruments and features sumptuously costumed folk and court dances performed by some of Korea's most talented performers and larger ensembles from the National Centre of Korean Performing Arts in Seoul. An additional focus on Korea's prodigious achievements in classical music is led by the internationally acclaimed soprano Sumi Jo and the Kumho Asiana String Quartet
