Shall We Take This Outside

Work:: Shall We Take This Outside (S0543807997)

Everyone wants to be a hero, right? Heroes are cool. Heroes make the world better. They don't lose their keys or drop their phones in the toilet. They get stuff done. But heroes are usually men. And they're usually pretty handy in a scrap. In fact, a lot of heroes are really into fighting. National poetry slam champion and battle-rapping cyborg, Adam Kammerling, teams up with real life super-humans, Eric Mitchell and Jacob Smart from Parkour Dance, to explore the effect of fictional hero behaviour on real-world attitudes to violence. Adam, Eric and Jacob fuse spoken word and movement to dig into the strange contradictions that lie between reality and fiction and illuminate the effect it has on our lives.

CORONAVIRUS: All venues in the UK were shut down on March 16, 2020, and the restrictions were finally lifted on July 19, 2021. It is important to mention that the UK Theatre Web archive listings (iUKTDb) from March 2020 to July 2021 might not be accurate due to the lack of information regarding rescheduled and cancelled shows.
