An illustrated talk by Michael Gray, acknowledged as a world authority on Bob Dylan's work, and the author of the outstanding book Song & Dance Man III: The Art Of Bob Dylan. The book got magnificent reviews from almost every major publication on its release in 1999, and has been described a "essential" (Folk Roots), "overwhelming" (The Times), and "a benchmark of critical excellence" (Terry Kelly). This is Michael's first show in the North East following successful appearances all over the world. His talks are always lively, humorous, witty and acute, and mix surprise slices of music and video with a thoroughly entertaining, fresh account of rock music's history and Bob Dylan's part in it.
