Throughout his glittering career, Robert Lindsay has been asked, "What made you want to be an actor?". The question he asked himself was what kind of actor he wanted to be. While filming Citizen Smith, BBC producer Dennis Main-Wilson asked him, "Are you an actor or a performer?". In his new solo show, the BAFTA, Olivier, and Tony award-winning actor playfully seeks to answer these questions. Featuring special clips and behind-the-scenes imagery from his West End and Broadway triumph in Me & My Girl, his iconic role as Wolfie Smith in Citizen Smith, the dark comedy of G B H, and the hilarity of My Family, to his many iconic stage performances including Hamlet, Richard III, Cyrano De Bergerac and The Entertainer, as well as the odd misfire, Robert packs this intimate show with unforgettable stories and anecdotes.
