In The Watermill's first ever live Zoom performance, four Deaf actors will come together to each share a monologue in British Sign Language reflecting on the recent shifts in our culture. If you're unfamiliar with BSL, or if you're interested in a backstage insight, join us before the performance to enjoy a pre-show introduction to some of the signs you're about to see. The workshop and performance will both be presented in BSL with a spoken English voiceover so Deaf and hearing audience members will all get the full experience. We are proud to partner with The DH Ensemble, a professional Deaf and hearing led theatre company, to celebrate Sign Language Week

CORONAVIRUS: All venues in the UK were shut down on March 16, 2020, and the restrictions were finally lifted on July 19, 2021. It is important to mention that the UK Theatre Web archive listings (iUKTDb) from March 2020 to July 2021 might not be accurate due to the lack of information regarding rescheduled and cancelled shows.
