Eight of the secondary schools and colleges are joining together with the Basingstoke Area Youth & Youth Wind Orchestras to present a celebration of music and dance in this historic year. Contributions from the participating schools will include Irish dancing, African drumming, steel pans, ukulele band, rock, jazz, instrumental and choral music. This will be an exciting end to the academic year, giving an insight into the vast range of musical activities taking place in our area. Participating schools are Amery Hill School, Bishop Challoner Catholic Secondary School, Brighton Hill Community College, Cranbourne Business & Enterprise College, Everest Community Academy, Fort Hill Community School, Robert May's School and Testbourne Community School.
