Following on from the success of the first Sabha at the Arena last season we invite you to come and enjoy another showcase of local and emerging talent. There will be dance, music and spoken word, fusing South Asian tradition with contemporary influences from the West Midlands and beyond. The evening will include Sandeep Mishra on sarangi. Sandeep has added a new innovation and style to his music by blending a contemporary approach to this traditional instrument. Rohit Ballal’s poetry will cover a range of topics from social commentary and spiritual insight to unrequited love. There will also be contemporary dance from Jyoti Parwana and Subhash Viman, and hip hop from Sublime.
