The event will showcase a fantastic array of contemporary western dance forms such as street dance, tap dance and ballet performed by local groups, as well as Indian classical dance by artists from all over the country. There will also be live music led by Indian violinist and composer Dr. Jyothsna Srikanth, who specialises in both Carnatic music and western classical music. She has also been involved with background scores for 200 Bollywood films. In addition, there will be a vibrant range of western dance styles performed by over eighty students from the Northern Academy of Performing Arts (NAPA). The dance session will also involve Indian dance forms, including Bharathanatyam, Kathak and Odissi. Money raised at the event will be donated to the NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit) and Paediatric Cancer Unit at Hull Royal Infirmary. There will also be a raffle and auction.
