Production:: (T01016570622)

The industry showcase for actors returns for Spring 2018. Following a lengthy audition process, a selection of actors (including a youth round for 11-17 year olds), go head-to-head to perform for a welcoming audience and a panel of industry professionals including agents, casting directors and directors. With many previous participants going on to secure agents and work, this is the only industry showcase to be endorsed by casting directory Spotlight and Equity. Renowned for offering a direct link between talent and the industry, come along and witness the most exciting new talent that Birmingham has to offer. MonologueSlam offers a fast paced, fun night out, hosted by actor Dean Smith (Last Tango in Halifax), showcasing local talent from actors to musicians.

CORONAVIRUS: All venues in the UK were shut down on March 16, 2020, and the restrictions were finally lifted on July 19, 2021. It is important to mention that the UK Theatre Web archive listings (iUKTDb) from March 2020 to July 2021 might not be accurate due to the lack of information regarding rescheduled and cancelled shows.
