Interface 10 showcases the best of the county’s youth dance talent from schools and community groups across Derbyshire and Derby City. This promises to be an evening of spectacular performance and choreography, with pieces inspired by the concepts and messages of the Cultural Olympiad, amongst other themes. The dances presented will have been made during the course of the academic year 2009/10, with young people aged 11-19 years driving the creative process, inspired along the way by teachers and dance artists from a wealth of diverse backgrounds. Interface 10 is a Stage 2 event for U.Dance, hosted by Déda, in partnership with Dance4 and Youth Dance England. Interface 10 is also supported by Igniting Ambition and the Derbyshire Schools’ Sports Association.
