Organillo

Organillo - is the culmination of an 18-month collaboration between electro acoustic composer Sebastian Castagna and a miniature street organ. Stephen's newest creation features astonishing music, movement-images and illusions with beautifully carved marionettes and automata - the hallmark of Animata's work since it's creation in 1988. Organillo is a haunting, illusory journey through a fertile amniotic world where things wriggle and reproduce. Light and lush sounds shimmer through the ebb and flow of primordial soup and a watery, dramatis personae present the oldest drama of them all.
