Using the best 1920’s traditional Slovenian puppets, the classic tale of Dr Faustus - a man who is willing to sell his soul to know all the secrets of the world - unfolds. Both assisted and thwarted through his journeys by Kasperle the trickster, Dr Faustus ultimately realises that his pact with Mephisto was a mistake – but unlike Kasperle who is a puppet and has no soul to lose, there is no salvation for him.
