The words of Robert Burns, poet and artist, have crossed the decades, the centuries and the globe meaning something different to everyone. The University of Dundee has specially commissioned writers from around the world to converge upon the pages of a prestigious new anthology - DBC Pierre, Janice Galloway and Kirsty Gurn - as well as writing talent closer to home - Prof Christopher Whatley, Gavin Wallace and Jim Stewart. The event to launch the book will feature readings by some of the authors, music and recitals of traditional Burns pieces.
