Politics of Love - T01040401055Politics of Love, was originally conceived of as a performance poetry collection, but in keeping with the genre and in order to develop the rhythms and find the voice of the poems, it was piloted on stage. This enabled a refining of the narrative, the voice of the protagonist and enabled Euton to find the subtleties in the ?musical' score of the poems. The book challenges the male perception of love ? exploring a man's quest to find, understand and retain it. The stage adaptation also focussed on giving black local artists a performance platform. | |
