Dirty Great Dramatic Poetry

Dirty Great Dramatic PoetryT01717925310
Join Richard Marsh and Katie Bonna, joint Fringe First winners for Dirty Great Love Story, for an unmissable workshop investigating poetry at its most theatrical. Through lively discussion, fresh exercises and the occasional couplet, Richard and Katie will explore the role of verse in dramatic writing: how to use it, how to write it (alone or as part of a team) and how to keep an audience entertained in the process. A workshop for writers of all levels - you do not have to already write poetry to benefit! (Although you probably shouldn't hate it). Katie is Resident Poet for Antic Group London. She has written new pieces for nabokov at Soho Theatre and Theatre Royal Bury St Edmunds (her one woman show The Celebrated Mrs Inchbald touring to America as part of their Restoring The Repertoire project). Richard's poetry play Skittles has been commissioned for Radio 4. He is the London slam champion
