Apples and Snakes - Articulate: Public Address 2

Work:: Apples and Snakes (S433617447)

Production:: Articulate: Public Address 2 (T0204300390)

fter the whirlwind that was Public Address, we once again bring you the best emerging spoken word talent from across the UK. Five talented, eclectic, exciting poets from the five Apples regions join together with one mission - to delight your ears with their words. Headlining in the North East is Middlesbrough's own Chris Stewart, whose darkly anarchic brand of poetry is anything but playing dumb - expect twisted characters, subverted hyperbole and all manner of mind games. From the South West, poet and MC Jack Dean bringing us ?savage urban poetry'; London's Selina Nwulu is a member of London and Chicago-based collective Malika's Kitchen; from the South East the box-fresh teenager Tommy Sissons; and Lorna Meehan represents the West Midlands, with her trademark merging of poetry and contemporary theatre.

CORONAVIRUS: All venues in the UK were shut down on March 16, 2020, and the restrictions were finally lifted on July 19, 2021. It is important to mention that the UK Theatre Web archive listings (iUKTDb) from March 2020 to July 2021 might not be accurate due to the lack of information regarding rescheduled and cancelled shows.
