Wine in the Wilderness archiveIn his Harlem studio during the riots of 1964 successful artist, Bill Jameson, is working on three paintings of black women called Wine and Wilderness. To fill the last blank canvas and complete his Triptych he needs to find a model, a woman close to the bottom, a hopeless case to sit alongside his pictures of innocence and perfection, but he finds Tommy Fields, and she has plans of her own.
