Gemma thinks she has the perfect relationship. Katie is getting married to Albert in the morning. Katie thinks she has the perfect relationship. In Katie's world sex outside the domestic space is the norm and both she and Al have sex with other men... and women. If this weren't enough to dash Gemma's faith in the beauty of the near-nuclear, ever faithful family, Tom, Katie's cross-dressing teenage son is determined to make his mother's big day. Gemma is enlisted with the task of turning him into a graceful and beautiful bridesmaid.
