White Baptist Abba Fan

White Baptist Abba Fan

Work:: White Baptist Abba Fan (S991891008)

Deborah was a White Baptist Abba Fan long before she became a gay Koori opera singer. Taken from her Aboriginal mother as an infant, she was raised in a religious, middle class home. Using song, both contemporary and classical, Deborah's remarkable story of identity and fulfilment is told with an ironic humour and vocal skill that is totally transfixing.
