What the Dickens? - The Pickwick Papers like you've never seen them before...

Work:: What the Dickens? (S1734748733)

Production:: The Pickwick Papers like you've never seen them before... (T354958010)

After a long lockdown, we all need a good laugh. So, for our first courtyard performance, we bring you the uproarious Pickwick Papers, widely commended as Charles Dickens' funniest piece of work. This fresh stage adaptation will be unlike any you've seen before, mixing British comedy of the 1960s with Dicken's classic witticisms. In just 50 minutes, our vivacious, all-female cast will come bursting with hilarity as they capture the classic chronicles of the legendary Pickwick Papers - with a few extra gags to chuckle at - whilst transporting us to a traditional British holiday camp. What the Dickens?! Runs in our outdoor courtyard for 6 performances over the late May bank holiday weekend (matinee & evening performances). There will be an outdoor bar serving a variety of drinks. There won't be slim Dickens here...
