Watership Down

Work:: Watership Down (S5496)

The tale of a group of rabbits and their struggle to find a new home.
Book by Richard Adams
Adapted by Jacob Murray
Adapted by Caroline Smith

Production:: (T593203092)

An adaptation of Richard Adam's classic novel. Twelve weary travellers, fleeing an uncertain danger, scared and fighting amongst themselves, begin to tell each other a story - a story that seems to mirror their own predicament - that of a young rabbit named Hazel, his small band of wanderers and their flight from the property developers who destroy their home, towards a peaceful life on Watership Down. However, when an oppressive new enemy hovers into view, the rabbits must risk everything to secure their new home, a risk not entirely alien to their human counterparts. Suitable for children aged 8 years upwards and adults alike.
