Production:: (T1607957405)

Writing short stories has how Chekhov earned a living. He was prolific, writing over 400 short stories, and inspiring countless writers from Flannery O'Connor to Raymond Carver. Written with all the wit, humanity and insight of his theatre work, these short stories illuminate and add to our understanding of his plays. Created for The Studio space using actors from The Seagull and Cold Meat Party ensemble, Ward 6 will conjure up some of the voices, atmospheres and lives from these stories.

CORONAVIRUS: All venues in the UK were shut down on March 16, 2020, and the restrictions were finally lifted on July 19, 2021. It is important to mention that the UK Theatre Web archive listings (iUKTDb) from March 2020 to July 2021 might not be accurate due to the lack of information regarding rescheduled and cancelled shows.
