It's 1066 and it's time for France and England to go to war again! The French King, Norman the Conqueror, is living up to his name by, well, conquering things, and this time he's got his eye on his old enemy across the channel! A war may be a brewing, and the most famous battle of all time on the way, but the English King, Harold, is still in bed, the Saxons have just put the kettle on and the crossbows hasn't been invented yet! An hilarious combination of history and physical comedic invention, 3Hird Wheel Theatre Company and France's renowned Le Troupo proudly present a unique co-production retold in basic French and English, full of slapstick, wit and the odd arrow in the eye! With all roads leading to Hastings.
Vive La 1066 is fantastic fun for all the family! And it dares to tell you all the bits that the Tapestry left out!
