Utah Blue (Scenes in a Culture of Murder) archiveUtah Blue (Scenes in a Culture of Murder) was first presented by The Made In Wales Stage Company in its 1995 season of 'Trouble and Desire'. It deals with the story of Gary Gilmore who in 1976 shot dead two men in cold blood. When the State gave him life imprisonment, he fought to be executed. In 1977 he succeeded and was shot. A very challenging play given a very challenging interpretation.
