Unsex Me Here archiveNigel Fair's Unsex Me Here is a stormy play of shadowy pasts, secret horrors and tragic comedy. It is a tiptoe tour through the psyches of four likeable characters branded by misfortune, an inch by inch examination of their soul, senses and destinies. But the lives of Ben, Belinda, Mary and Polly are not completely their own. The writer has stained them with the blood of Lady Macbeth and each character must share the burden of her internal nightmare. Unsex Me Here is a weighty piece of drama built around four monologues which mirror and reflect an ever-growing plot of love, greed, despair and murder.
